This photograph is ineffective because I only wanted Carol and Angelica in focus, but everyone came into focus.

This photo was ineffective, because instead of just a section of numbers being in focus, the whole ruler and the subject's fingernails were in focus.

This photo was ineffective, because I was trying to focus on all three of them but only the first two were focused on and the last one was blurry.
